EU to mobilise €440 million for Palestinians
Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner has pledged to mobilise almost €440 million for the Palestinians in 2009, more than half of it to Gaza, urging other donors to “deliver on their promises” at the International Conference in support of the Palestinian economy for the reconstruction of Gaza held in Sharm-el-Sheikh on 2 March.

Morocco leads the way in EU cooperation
Morocco is the EU’s first partner in the Neighbourhood region, receiving over 10 billion dirhams (almost €905 million) from the EU in the last four years, according to a PR from the EU Delegation in Rabat.
